About SARA: Why I’m Writing Here
Beginnings are hard.
A blinking cursor on a blank page can be intimidating—
even for experienced writers.
My name is Sara.
This Substack is a public thinking space I chose to open now.
Why this, and why now?
I’m not writing because I feel “ready.”
I’m writing because I realized something important:
If certain questions remain only in private notes,
they will never be properly tested.
Through long-term, high-frequency collaboration with AI,
I keep encountering tensions that refuse to disappear:
When everything can be accelerated, how much agency remains human?
When judgment is outsourced, who carries responsibility?
When systems grow smarter, do humans become clearer—or more lost?
I needed a space to bring these questions into the open,
and examine them slowly.
What kind of space is this?
You’re not subscribing to a newsletter.
You’re entering a space where thinking is deliberately slowed down.
This is not a place for answers.
It’s a place to identify problems, name tensions, and recalibrate direction.
I imagine this space for readers who:
Have begun to question speed as a default good
Don’t want to outsource judgment entirely
Are willing to retain responsibility for their choices
What should you expect?
I’ll post occasionally—no fixed cadence, no content quotas.
Topics will generally include:
Cognitive structures I’m building, testing, and revising
Boundaries that emerge in human–AI collaboration
Shifts that are happening before we have language for them
You should not expect:
Quick wins or success formulas
AI tool recommendations or productivity hacks
Step-by-step instructions to copy
All public posts are available to free subscribers.
There is no paywall at the moment.
A small invitation
If these questions resonate with you,
you’re welcome to subscribe.
I’ll write slowly,
without chasing trends or volume.
